Description
Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer on the verge of financial ruin, is given the opportunity of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford, husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, hires Lowen to finish the remaining books in a highly successful series that his wife, unable to write due to an injury, can no longer complete.
When Lowen arrives at the Crawford home to sort through Verity’s notes and outlines, she stumbles upon something unexpected—an unfinished autobiography Verity never intended for anyone to read. What follows is a chilling series of confessions, including Verity’s account of the night her family’s life was irrevocably changed.
Torn between guilt and curiosity, Lowen decides to keep the manuscript hidden from Jeremy, understanding how devastating its contents would be for him. But as her feelings for Jeremy grow, she realizes how much she could gain if he were to discover his wife’s terrifying words. After all, no matter how deeply Jeremy loves his injured wife, a truth this horrifying would make it impossible for him to ever love her the same way again.

Enjoyed this book. Definitely didn’t see the twist and turns of it. I like a book that keeps me guessing. The paperback I received was in great condition. No issues with the physical look of the book itself

I couldn’t put this book down! I stayed in bed, sleep deprived until the end! I felt this one! Crazy!

Very suspenseful. I read this in less than two days. I had to put it down once in a while to clean and eat. I recommend.
