Description

The Silent Patient delivers a gripping psychological thriller about a woman’s shocking act of violence against her husband and the therapist driven to uncover her reasons.

Alicia Berenson seems to have it all—a celebrated painter married to a prominent fashion photographer, living in a stunning London home. But her idyllic life shatters one night when she shoots her husband, Gabriel, five times in the face after he comes home late from a shoot. Following the murder, Alicia falls silent, refusing to explain her actions, and her silence transforms a personal tragedy into a public obsession. Her art gains fame, and she becomes a figure of fascination, confined to the Grove, a high-security psychiatric facility in North London.

Enter Theo Faber, a criminal psychotherapist who has been waiting for his chance to work with Alicia. Determined to uncover the truth behind her silence, Theo embarks on a journey that delves deep into Alicia’s past—and his own. What begins as a quest for answers spirals into a chilling exploration of obsession, secrets, and the price of uncovering the truth.

I was trying to find a book that would be just as good as all the Frieda McFadden books I’ve been reading. This one definitely was!

  2. Edward J. Murrill

Very good book but TERRIBLE ENDING ! I’m so confused. Towards the end there was a lot of back and forth so i’m not even sure what or how it ended.

  3. James V. Sneed

Excellent book had me guessing the whole book, never expected what it turns out to be in the end, I highly recommend it
