Description
In The Selfish Gene, Dawkins presents a gene-centered view of evolution, where genes are seen as the fundamental units of natural selection, with organisms acting as vehicles for their replication. This imaginative and thought-provoking work helped bring Neo-Darwinism to a wider audience, sparking widespread debate and inspiring new avenues of research. Forty years after its publication, its insights continue to shape the field of evolutionary biology.
This 40th anniversary edition includes a new epilogue by Dawkins, reflecting on the enduring relevance of his ideas, as well as the original prefaces, foreword, and extracts from early reviews.

The item arrived in good time. The book was soft cover so slightly bent in the post, but has straightened out easily by placing between other tightly packed books on my shelf. So all good
