I absolutely love The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo books and this is the second time I’ve read it just for the sheer pleasure of it. Very well written and I strongly believe that all of the Lisbeth Salander books should be made into English speaking movies. I was so delighted when Daniel Craig and Roonie Mara brought the first one to life on the big screen, but I do wish they would’ve continued doing so with the entirety of the series. This book is very hard to put down and definitely leaves you on the edge of your seat all the while addressing corruption and evil predatory ways of some who do exist in our societies and the stories of their victims or survivors who deserve to have light shed on such truths even though in this case the individuals are fictional it’s still a truth within our world that deserves to have a light shine upon it. It shouldn’t be whispered about and kept in the dark. And lastly, I love the strength and resilience of Salander as she weaves her way thru the world passing these demons who prey on young women and her unique ways of dealing with them as karma in action. I highly recommend these books.

After seeing the movie I was interested in reading the book. It did not disappoint. Especially a larger character arch for Lizbeth. Looking forward to reading the sequel.
