What happens when America’s First Son falls for the Prince of Wales?

Description

Alex Claremont-Diaz has always been the perfect face for the White House—handsome, charismatic, and the son of the first female president. But there’s one problem: his long-standing feud with Prince Henry of Wales. After a photo of an altercation between them hits the tabloids, U.S.-British relations take a dive.

In an effort to control the damage, the families orchestrate a truce between the two rivals. What begins as a staged, Instagram-worthy friendship quickly evolves into something more, and soon Alex and Henry find themselves in a secret romance that could disrupt a political campaign and shake both nations.

Can love save the world? How can they find the courage to embrace who they truly are? In Red, White & Royal Blue, Casey McQuiston proves that true love isn’t always diplomatic.

Wow. I’m so glad I didn’t read this till Nov 2024. (It’d been on my TBR for a while). Thank you for writing this. Thank you for imagining and painting a different and hopeful world for us. And that each one of us can make a difference by being ourselves and making room for hope and love.
And their story is such a beautiful one. You won’t regret reading this. I’m truly thankful to have read this.

After a disappointing outcome of the 2024 election, I wasn’t sure if this was the right time to read a book that was so politically centered. I was so glad to be wrong. This book was exactly what I needed. To have a book so fiercely passionate about love and a world where it’s possible to just be yourself in the face of bigotry and hatred healed something for me. I laughed out loud many time and cried just as many at this sweet, romantic, sexy, and uplifting book. I highly recommend.

The story line, the challenges, the fight, the dreams, the desires, the publicity, the politics, the love, the message…this was an amazing novel.
