Raised by Wolves by James Patterson

(3 customer reviews)

Two strangers. One small town. A choice that could alter everything.

When two teenagers arrive at a small-town grocery store, they immediately draw the attention of the police. They don’t speak English, or even speak at all. They’re brother and sister, seemingly raised in the wild.

Description

The siblings—Kai and Holo—appear out of nowhere, wreaking havoc at the grocery store and attacking the officers who arrive to investigate. Their clothes are tattered, their hands and feet rough from the wilderness, and their fangs exposed. When questioned, they claim they were raised by wolves.

Taken in by the police chief and his wife, the teens begin adjusting to life in Kokanee Creek—attending school, making friends, and even going on dates. But as they get closer to humans, they realize that people can be far more dangerous than any animal. As the truth about their past unravels, powerful forces descend on the town, threatening not only their lives but the safety of everyone they’ve come to love.

In this fight for survival, the question remains: How will the wolves survive? How will Kai and Holo?

I was confused as I began reading this collaboration. A whole new Patterson for me. As usual, the writing was perfect. But I spent the whole book not feeling I was reading my James Patterson. As usual, the writing was perfect, the characters outstanding, and the storyline flowed seamlessly.
