Kennedy

I’m the only woman on the Windy City Warriors’ staff, and after years of enduring a sexist lead doctor, I’m determined to secure my dream job with a new team next year. All I need to do is maintain my professional reputation through my final season in Chicago.

But when I run into the team’s shortstop in Las Vegas, everything is thrown into jeopardy. I wake up with hazy memories and a ring on my finger.

Description

Now, not only am I bound to the most persistent man I’ve ever met, but Isaiah’s plan to save my career means I have to pretend our spontaneous wedding was a romantic elopement and not a drunken mistake.

Isaiah Rhodes is reckless, impulsive, and undeniably charming. He’s also my new husband.

They say “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas,” but sometimes, it follows you home.

Isaiah

As the shortstop for Chicago’s professional baseball team, I’ve had my share of fun. But when Kennedy Kay became a single woman, everything changed.

I’ve been crushing on the team’s athletic trainer for years, flirting with little success. So, imagine my shock when I wake up in Vegas with a ring on my finger and my favorite redhead in my bed.

We agree to stay married for one season, long enough to protect her job. But in my mind, this is my chance to prove I’m more than just a fling—I’m husband material.

Kennedy might be hesitant to play along, but it’s a game I’m determined to win.

So, come on, wife… let’s play.

The way Liz makes (Im)perfect couples gives chills, every book is a new discovery and it only gets better every release. I’m in love with all these characters, the pacing was amazing, as usual, adult characters having adult problems and resolving as adults, loooooove. Hope everyone can have fun reading and felling like a part of this beautiful made up family. PS: Rio’s book can’t come fast enough!

Wow, another wonderful book! It was written soooo beautifully, I loved reading it. I really enjoyed it from start to finish. Great to read, just the right number of pages. 👍🏻❤️

Most amazing story ever! I loved this one. I’ve read all the other Windy City books but this one takes the cake. The vulnerability of both characters was perfectly written, and Isaiah was so patient with Kennedy as she developed feelings it made me swoon!

If you’re on the fence — just read it, you will not regret it!
