When her boyfriend backs out at the last minute, New Yorker Sophia Othonos embarks on their couples’ cruise to the Galápagos Islands alone, only to discover that the person she was truly meant to fall in love with might just be herself.
Description
After a series of disappointing dates and no promising prospects, Sophia finally believes she’s found “the one”—a kind, genuine guy. When he suggests a romantic getaway, she’s excited about the future they could have together. A rustic cruise to the Galápagos Islands isn’t exactly her idea of paradise, but she’s willing to go… until he cancels. Now, stranded on a trip meant for two, Sophia finds herself questioning everything: who she is, what she wants, and whether her relationship is as perfect as she once thought. But if she’s going to face an identity crisis, she might as well do it surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of nature. With eight days of stunning, unspoiled landscapes ahead, Sophia begins to realize that change might be just what she needs most.

Annie56 –
Charming characters, I felt like I was a passenger with them, the descriptive passages, so very real. All packed into a short story with a happy, believable ending. And the crowd called for more please Elin 🙂
Richard Latham –
This is one of those amazing books that pulls you right in where you feel like you are living and breathing the story as the lead character. It also included some fantastic twists, which I love in a novel. Brilliantly written!
