He’s never chased anyone… until he met her.
Charming, carefree, and wealthy beyond measure, Xavier Castillo has it all—except the desire to take over his family’s empire, much to his father’s disappointment. Women are drawn to him, but the one person who isn’t interested is his publicist, Sloane Kensington. He takes pleasure in pushing her buttons, but when tragedy strikes, forcing them into close quarters, Xavier is forced to confront an unsettling truth: the only woman immune to his charms is the one he wants most.

Description

She’s used to handling difficult clients… but he’s different.
Sloane Kensington is a cool, intelligent, and ambitious publicist who can manage anyone—except Xavier. His dimples, carefree attitude, and knack for making her heart race drive her mad. She knows he’s a distraction, and she’s determined to keep things professional. But the more time they spend together, the harder it is to ignore the chemistry between them. He’s her client, and that’s all he’ll ever be… right?

King of Sloth is a steamy, forced proximity romance, the fourth book in the Kings of Sin series. It can be read as a standalone.

Xavier is sweet and he’s crazy about Sloane. His care for her is adorable. I love the fact that characters from the other books in Huang’s universe interact.

This was such an easy ready from beginning to the end. Everything flowed freely and connected. Xavier and Sloane’s connection made sense and bloomed in way that made sense. I thoroughly enjoyed Xavier and Sloane’s witty banter. The scene surrounding the Castillo funeral was intimate and beautiful. The way they supported each other with their family issues was so beautiful and so romantic. Him coming to her rescue so many times when dealing with Pen and her family, “The Fish”!!! It was a great read!
