Honestly up until the last page I was intent on giving this book 4 stars. That cliff hanger GOT ME. I’m a big reader, lots of horror and thriller, I rarely miss a twist and that one surprised me. Holy cow. Anyway this book is good. I could not put it down. I think I read it in about 3 days. It’s an incredibly easy to follow world and magic system, it’s well written, it’s faced paced. I got lost several times. Can’t wait to read the next.

I don’t have enough words to describe how truly fantastic this book is! It’s wonderfully written with engaging characters, splendid background and detailed descriptions of all the characters, landscapes and dragons! I love dragons and this book really tops them all. It pulls you in and makes you feel apart of it all. Never drags, it has very hot romance in part but it’s not the main focus. The sad part was bad for my kleenex supply but the ending made up for that, what a shock it was too! Can’t wait to read the next book.

Nicely written; the story line goes crescendo and feels the reader with emotions. Also the arial sensations are well defined and give the reader the impression to be flying while sitting on the back on the dragon. The Love story between the three protagonists Dain, Xaden and Violet, is also full of natural human emotions of envy, lust, jealousy and betrayal. This novel should be recommended as one of the modern days fictional classics.
