Description

Mackenzie Allen Phillips’s youngest daughter, Missy, is abducted during a family vacation. He clings to hope for her safe return, but when evidence surfaces suggesting she was brutally murdered in a remote Oregon shack, his world is shattered.

Four years later, in the depths of his sorrow, Mack receives a mysterious note, seemingly from God, inviting him to return to that very shack for a weekend. Reluctantly, he goes, stepping into his darkest memories on a cold winter’s afternoon. What he encounters there will transform his life in ways he never imagined.

I read this book in one sitting. It was great and is about a traumatic experience for a father and how the lord came to him. Interesting, joyful, and sweep away on these pages everything that we have been taught in the churches. Really recommended.

  2. Stephanie Nelson

This book touched my heart and drew me closer to Jesus. The book was so much better than the movie. I would recommend the book to anyone looking to experience the testament of Jesus.

Opened my eyes about what God might be like. I would recommend the book to everyone. Would just encourage readers to keep an open mind.
